Current Professional Summary:

Dr. Gorgos currently works as an HIV clinician with Special Immunology Associates at El Rio Health Center in Tucson, AZ.  She is board certified in Infectious Disease  and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in STD prevention with a special interest in sexually transmitted infections and sexual health among minority populations.  Dr. Gorgos previously served as Medical Director of the Infectious Disease Bureau for the New Mexico Department of Health.  As an infectious disease and public health clinician, Dr. Gorgos focuses on the integration of care and prevention services for sexually transmitted infections, HIV, and viral hepatitis.
